Scavenger Hunts

Take a tour of the property while on a scavenger hunt looking for clues. Where will your adventure take you?

Pallet Picnics

End the Field Trip with a picnic lunch or snack in our pasture. Bring a blanket or use one of our pallets!

  • Pricing

    • Field Trips start at $150 and includes 20 students/kids ages 2-18. Additional students are $7.50 per student

    • Teachers are FREE additional adults/parents are $2.00 per adult

We strive to give everyone a chance at some FARM FUN!

​

Our field trips are geared to provide cowgirls and cowboys of all ages a fun and unique farm experience. Field trips begin on the patio area where we will welcome you to the farm and cover some basic rules to follow while on the premises. 

 

Kids, with chaperones, will rotate between three different areas, Horseback Rides/Pony Painting and Game Center, Petting Zoo Animal interaction center and the Scavenger Hunt.

  • Horseback Rides: with a signed waiver and the provided riding helmet in place, we will assist all children on to one of our trusty steeds for a relaxing ride around the front of the farm.

  • Pony Painting: Kids may chose a washable paint color of their choice and place a painted handprint on one of our sweet miniature horses. They will also have the opportunity to give them a yummy carrot if they wish.

  • Game Center: We will have 2-3 organized farm games available for the kids to play.

  • Petting Zoo Animal Interaction: Alpacas, Sheep, Goats, oh my! We will have a large variety of animals in an easy to access enclosure for Farm Guests to meet, pet and feed our Friendly Farm Friends. Kids will have the chance to go inside the enclosure, with a parent or guardian’s approval, to meet them up close and personal! Rules will be discussed before entering the enclosure. Proper hand sanitizing will be used before and after the Petting Zoo rotation.

  • Scavenger Hunt: Go on a hunt to find a surprise! Picture Clues will lead you around Orrick Acres and ultimately to a fun treasure you will get to keep!

  • Pallet Picnic: If you bring a lunch or snack, we will have pallets in the pasture for your picnicking enjoyment; eat, relax and relish in the beauty of nature.
