Orrick Acres is now offering you the opportunity to hatch your own baby chicks!! Who doesn't love those soft, cute, cuddly chicks?

We will make your at home hatching super egg-citing and stress free!

​

Out hatching kits come with a 9 to 12-egg incubator, 9 to 12 fertile eggs, a candling light, a small brooder (cage for after the chicks hatch), bedding, chick feed, a waterer and feeder and a chick warmer, a countdown calendar, and an information handbook of the entire hatching process.

 

Everything you need to start your chicks off to happy healthy life!

Our hatching kits will be offered March - November.

• The Basic kit is $150 and gives you access to all the equipment and chicks for a week after hatching.

• The Blue kit is $175 and includes a Farm Tour to Orrick Acres to collect the exact eggs you wish to hatch PLUS gives you access to all the equipment and chicks for a week after hatching. (all Orrick Acres equipment: brooder, feeders, waterers, chick warmer, must be returned in the 30 day window, if you are outside of the St. Joseph, MO area there will be a mileage fee to pickup equipment).

• The Gold kit is $200 and includes a Farm Tour to Orrick Acres to collect the exact eggs you wish to hatch PLUS gives you access to all the equipment PLUS allows you to adopt all of your chicks after hatching (all Orrick Acres equipment: brooder, feeders, waterers, chick warmer, must be returned in the 30 day window, if you are outside of the St. Joseph, MO area there will be a mileage fee to pickup equipment).

25% Deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your requested at Home Hatching date!

Deliveries and pickup farther than 15 miles from the farm will have $1.75 per mile mileage fee, round trip, past the 15 miles.
